Dynamic response characteristics of shaking table model

The seismic simulation shaker utilized in this study is a unidirectional shaking table with dimensions of 3m × 3 m. It features a single-layer grid table structure made of steel, capable of supporting a maximum load of 10t. The shaker has a maximum speed of 0.7 m/s and operates within a frequency range of 0.1–50.0 Hz.

University of California, San Diego shake table to be upgraded

The world's largest outdoor shake table, which measures how structures perform during earthquakes, is undergoing a makeover. With the help of a $16.3 million grant from the National Science Foundation, the University of California, San Diego's Large High-Performance Outdoor Shake Table, known as LHPOST, will move from a uniaxial …

Fundamental discussions on seismic vibrators | GEOPHYSICS

Vibrators are the most widely used sources in land seismic exploration. Successful application of vibroseis technology requires evaluating each element in the vibrator system and ensuring that each part of the system contributes to the success of the method. To obtain a high-quality image of the subsurface using the vibroseis method, it is beneficial …
